Quick Pickled Red Onions
These Quick Pickled Red Onions are easy to make and only require 5 ingredients. Add to tacos, salads, sandwiches or any dish that you want to add a pop of flavour to!

Add the water, vinegar, maple syrup and sea salt to a small pot and bring to a simmer. Remove from the heat and stir in any of the optional add-ins if desired.
Add the red onion to a clean jar and pour the hot liquid over top. Push the onions down so they are submerged.
Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes before using. They will get even better the longer they sit!
Serve immediately or cover and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
